Landers McLarty Subaru funds initiative to honor Tennessee Valley educators HUNTSVILLE, Al. (July 3, 2019): Landers McLarty Subaru in Huntsville is proud to announce a recent partnership with The Early Works Family of Museums to fund the Subaru Star Teacher Award Program. This program is set to run in conjunction with the FW Field Trip Fund from August of 2019 until January of 2020. This program aims to showcase outstanding elementary school educator's quality of work, professional leadership, engagement with community, and their potential for even greater contributions to the healthy development of children.

Landers McLarty Subaru will be providing a donation of 1,000 dollars to four deserving teachers that exemplify these standards of outstanding education. Each recipient of the Subaru Star Teacher Award will receive 250 dollars, along with the opportunity to bring his/her classroom on a field trip to The Early Works Family of Museums. 

The ultimate goal of this initiative is to show Tennessee Valley educators that they are valued and recognized for their outstanding achievements thus far. Nominations for the Subaru Star Teacher Award are taking place until August 31, 2019.
